I am a bit overwhelmed with the freedom to choose my final project video. I have been thinking about it for a couple of days now. I believe I have a working idea. The final project will be called “Take a walk in my shoes”. The video will have some overlapping images but the consistent subject of the video will be a journey of my feet from morning until night. Waking up under the covers, taking a shower, putting on foot wear, traversing the streets and subway, and finally back at home. The overlapping images might include but are not limited to a view from my sight line as well as different patterns and lights. “Take a walk in my shoes” will capture the city life of a young student and part time worker.
I am also going to the beer and bacon festival this weekend but I am not sure if they let me video tape the festival. If I can I would overlap the fun time with my friends with sounds of drunk arguing and pigs being slaughtered as an homage to beer and bacon. This is all contingent upon the festivals rules at Citi field. I rather shoot the video aforementioned but I am open to discussing the possibilities with you.

Your project 2 was very strong and unless I am mistaken you happened upon the footage and then responded to what you found. Maybe take that approach with this video as well. Keep your eyes peeled for interesting material. Moving from this point, consider how you could pair this footage with other sites/images/actions. Try build juxtapositions that make us think about something new and are not just polar opposites.
