Chelsea market bustles with people constantly moving in and on. The flow of people creates a chaotic environment. As much interaction that takes place, the interaction is between groups of people that go there together. From the minute groups step in the building they clump together and move in such formation from the entrance to the exit. If one person detaches from the group, the attachment only last a few seconds or minutes before the whole group follows. The variety of products available provides a great menu for spend time on. Clothing stores like Anthropologie with the shining windows displays is the first store to encounter when one enters the mini mall called Chelsea Market. From this on the main focus becomes food. Bread, Pizza, Hamburgers, even gelato which can be bought at the very end of the market. This is not all because it is a very culturally rich place. Italian food is offered at counter to the side where one joins the line, places the order , and the food is heated right in front of the customer. The ways of preparing food is different too because some places cook the food while some just heat what they have on display. It is an environment where fast food comes in contact with food that a person would cook and eat a home.
Apart from the establishments that are located within chelsea market, the people that go also vary. Some just walk in and head directly to a place they were intending to without any hesitation. Others walk and linger in front of stores. Sometimes one or two people go into a store or stop somewhere go in for a few seconds and then walk out, seemingly just browsing to find something that grabs their interest to the utmost level. Not many kids go there, the composition of the crowd is mostly adult and a couple of teenagers, most probably from the schools in the area. There is no really area of conflict, the only problem people could find is that sometimes it gets heavily crowded.
