The Field Center welcomes entrepreneurship delegates from Egypt

This April, the Field Center received several special guests from Egypt that have built and established successful startups. Our Field Fellow, Mohamed Hassan, welcomed them in Arabic and introduced them to our Maker Hub initiative and its tie-in with entrepreneurship with respect to design, prototyping and creative expression. The Maker Hub offers weekly workshops in 3D Printing & Modeling and Arduino, and also works with students to create their own independent projects. This year, the Maker Hub is conducting faculty outreach for the first time in an effort to encourage integration of a design and make curriculum at Baruch College.

Senem Acet-Coskun, one of our full-time business advisors at the Small Business Development Center at Baruch gave a short presentation about one-on-one business counseling services and workshops covering various aspects of business functions from finance to marketing, operations and more.
