CSE Incubator Demo Day

The Spring 2016 Incubator cohort have undergone a transformative 5 months of workshops, mentoring, investor roundtables, and more in their fearless pursuit of startup launch. SmartPitch 2016 Final Event

May 20 from 9:00am-2:00pm at the CUNY Center for Student Entrepreneurship

As CUNY’s biggest ideation competition, SmartPitch is a hotbed for CUNY’s most innovative startup concepts. Sixty teams are now vying for mentor nominations after having completed all three phases of the semester-long competition, requiring each startup to complete a Business Model Canvas, a YouTube video, and investor pitch deck. CUNY & Capital One Community College Innovation Challenge 

CUNY and Capital One

May 26 from 9:00am-2:30pm at the CUNY Center for Student Entrepreneurship

Focusing on associate degree students across CUNY’s seven community colleges, this competition is open to all CUNY associate degree students. See their pitches and hear from keynote speaker Rahfeal Gordon, an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker and author who went from being homeless on the streets of Newark, NJ to providing mentorship for top business leaders.

(Baruch students only. Those interested in submitting projects must apply by May 6)

Do you have a burning research question, creative idea, or artistic inclination that you’d love to actualize? Creative Inquiry Day gives Baruch students the chance to launch creative projects of their own choosing. The event celebrates undergraduate student research and creative projects ranging from theses to class projects, to art and multimedia installations.
