Field Fellowship: Data Analyst Intern

Salary level: Undergrad student: $15/hr, Graduate student: $18/hr

Reporting to the Director of the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship, the Data Analyst Intern will assume duties as follows:


  • Maintain a system for collecting data assigned with all centers connected to the Field Center including the Baruch Small Business Development Center, the CUNY Institute for Virtual Enterprise and the MakerHub.
  • Analyze data as necessary for reports and fundraising activities.
  • Develop a data collection process for the Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine rankings.
  • Perform periodic Google Analytics evaluations on our website to analyze website traffic.


  • A Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Statistics, Computer Information Systems or the equivalent is preferred
  • A minimum of two years work experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with entrepreneurship and small business is preferred
  • Working knowledge or familiarity with databases and statistical analysis software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
