Field Fellowship: Front Desk Receptionist

Pay: $12/hour for undergraduate students.

Reporting to the Office Manager of the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship this position will assume the following clerical/receptionist duties:

Responsibilities
• Manage the front desk, greeting clients upon arrival and providing the proper documentation.
– Does routine upkeep of office machines, e.g., photocopiers, printers, etc.
• Files documents and/or data as needed. Updates existing files.
• Answer telephone calls; screens incoming calls and forwards/refers them to the proper person
• Assist in maintaining Center’s client database.
• Assists with arrangements for special events (e.g. conferences, reservations of rooms, travel arrangements, catering services, etc).
• Receives mail for the Center and distributes it among the proper persons; may sort mail per instructions.
• Prepare the Field Center’s mailings to various constituencies
• Duplicates, collates, and distribute materials. Coordinates work of others to produce and distribute materials; confers with printing department as needed.
• Assist in updating the Field Center’s websites as needed.
• Manages the Field Center and SBDC email accounts.
• Schedule client appointments with appropriate Business Advisor and/or Field Mentor.
