Call for Nominations

2015 ERS Joseph A. Schumpeter Distinguished Scholar Award

 

The Joseph A. Schumpeter Distinguished Scholar Award is made annually to the entrepreneurship researcher who has had the greatest impact on the field, as determined by the ERS Board of Directors upon the recommendation of its designated nominating committee. The Schumpeter Award recipient will receive a $1,000 prize, a framed certificate, lifetime ERS membership, and will be invited to make a luncheon keynote presentation at the 2015 Inaugural ERS Research Conference and Meetings, October 29-30, 2015.

Nominations are invited and must be received by the ERS Board Nominating Committee no later than June 1, 2015. Eligible candidates must:

  • Be nominated by a leading entrepreneurship scholar (self-nominations will not be accepted);
  • Have three letters of support (letter of nomination may count as one of the support letters);
  • Submit curriculum vitae

The Board Nominating Committee will make its recommendation as to the 2015 ERS Schumpeter Award recipient to the full Board of Directors for approval.
