Make up Assignments

Many of you have already expressed the desire to complete a make up assignment for your quiz.

Option 1:

Should you choose to present for your assignment, you will need to email me and schedule a day to present your song or clip- and teach the class some new vocabulary.

Option 2:

Create a dialogue (much like you did for the first assignment) fulfilling the following requirements:

  • 10 vocabulary words from chapters 1-2 (or any other vocabulary words that we have used thus far) make these bold
  • Use and conjugate Etre; Avoir; Aller
  • 4 (or more) ER Verbs underline these

You will need to send this to me by April 20th (THIS IS ALSO THE DAY OF THE MIDTERM!)

Bonne Chance 🙂

The Long Awaited Answers for Chapter 2

Answers_chapter2

Remember you will turn in Chapter 2, stapled, completed, and corrected at the end of class on Monday!

Also please remember to bring a picture of someone you care about (family member significant other, dog) and describe who they are, what they look like,  what they ARE like, and what they like to do.  (This counts as a quiz grade for the course) Your description should be short and engage the class.

CLASS CANCELLED WEDNESDAY 3/2

Salut French 001,

I am writing to let you know that unfortunately, I will have to cancel our class tomorrow. I apologize for this and for any inconvenience this causes! Spread the word about this in case their is anyone who doesn’t regularly check this email.

What I would like everyone to do, is make sure that by Monday we have completed the third lesson in your workbook (please go to the lab to do the listening activities and to get your hours for the month). Use your book ! We will be doing an activity next week that will help to solidify all of chapter 1 so be prepared.

Also, I have posted a satirical video on the blog for you to watch at your leisure. Think about the stereotypes portrayed in this video for discussion in class on Monday.

a lundi,

Professor Largent
