Coloring Up Your Future: Community/Global Awareness workshop

Today I went to the Community/@Global awareness workshop where Alfonso Quiroz, spoke. he has help positions politicaly, such as an intern for the white house, in 1995, where he interened with monica L (cool enit) he has also ran for council member in Queens, and now works for con ed. he as also worked for MTV news. the basic purpose of his talk was to express how to being successfl, in what ever you do. in his case, being successful as an openly gay man in politics. I didnt even know what the wotkshop was until i got there, would i suggest it? Yes i guess. For people who wan to know how to deal with people telling you you wont make it, based on things like race, ethnicity or even gender.
