the arts at baruch workshop that i attended was the “Nature of Landscape” on 10/6/09 between 1 pm to 2 pm. The workshop was basically a tour of the art gallery and looking at bassic art techniques and how they are achieved and the purposes behind them. One really stood out for me. one of them was Four Nudes in the Cityby Lucien Clergue. This was remarkable because at first look, I thought that the picture was of sand dunes on the beach or something but looking at it closer, it was four people lying down with their backs in the air in a way taht shoed an image of sand dunes. I decided to take this worksop because I had taken art in high school but never really got to see photos or a gallery so i thought it would be a neat experience. It definalty took me out of my comfort zone because these werent the things i was expecting. I expected to see color photos and famous photos but it wasnt dissapointing. I would definalty recommend this workshop to people espicailly those in the photography major. I felt like I broadened my horizons by ateneding this art workshop.
