On October 8th, I attended “Managing Relationships in College” at 12:45, and this workshop was basically about how to either continue previously formed relationship or create new relationships in college. They told us that the best way to keep relationships going is by being open to others. They then gave us a bunch of other tips like there isn’t just one type of relationship but many, such as relationships at home, with friends, and among co-workers. They then had us break up into groups and move around and talk to each other and basically we just got acquainted with each other. Then they told us something that struck me, basically it was that no relationships should completely mask another relationship. I guess what they meant is not to let yourself be overwhelmed by forming to many relationships because it will be hard to maintain all of them.
