On Thursday, October 8th I attended the Managing Relationships in College workshop in room 3-215. In the beginning of the workshop the instructor made us introduce ourselves to three people near us. She then made us do the same thing to three people on the opposite side of the room. She also called on a few people to share what they learned about the people around them. The instructor then spoke about how to manage relationships with family, friends (new and old), and boyfriends or girlfriends. I thought this workshop was very helpful because it taught me how to effectively communicate with others when dealing with problems. It also taught me a few lessons on time management which I’ve always had a problem with. The instructor also spoke about the transition from high school to college and how we can manage our new responsibilities. I thought this was a good workshop and I would recommend it to others.
