The workshop that I went to was How to Write a Resume. I got some very helpful tips when putting together a resume for a job. They told us that we should forget all activities we did in high school and put activities that pertain to college. Also they said you should put your GPA on your resume only if it is over a 3.0. They show us how to format a resume, even though the projector was broken. They also say to put down our major or what is going to be our major. They told us it very difficult for people looking for a job for the first time. They said that anything that could help our chances to landing the job that we should. Overall it was very good workshop. I must say I was relieved after the workshop was over since I am now all done with these workshops. Must say I did learn a few things in the process.
