Today, I went to a Gallery showing of photography. Most of the freshmen seminar class decided to go together, so that was a nice touch to the experience. The showcase was of a photographer taking pictures of landscape and such. The showing was short, but it was nice. The women who explained it all was nice and gave us time to look around. Some of the pictures looked like landscape but in reality were not. There was one of four human butts that seemed to the common eye like mountains or plains but when looked at closely you see four naked people, two women and two men. The pictures were interesting and made you really consider why she took the picture of that particular thing and from that particular angle. There were many photos that were taken from a birds-eye angle, that made the landscape seem like other objects.
The gallery was interesting and nice. I came to discover that Baruch offers many interesting things for all different types of interests.
