academic advisment

the academic advisment work shop yesterday (10-13-09) was a workshop where we were handed a small card listing like 20 different stations for us to visit and ask any questions  we had.  we were directed to spend time at at least  10 stations. i found this as a  really creative way to explore our possibilities, provided we can work at our own pace. im certain im not the only one who appreciated this workshop for my peers that  i have spoken to also said they were happy they went. im glad i got to take part in these workshops in my freshman year at bartuch college and  im looking forward to referring to many of baruch colleges (extra) offers

thanks

michael.

One Response to academic advisment

  1. Yes, I found this workshop to be helpful as well. I find out about many things I’ve wanted to but haven’t had the chance yet — namely, Financial Aid, well mostly financial aid, but also taking extra classes at other CUNYs and also in Odessa or Israel. I haven’t looked so much into the other things, to tell the truth, but I did take all the papers so I’ll have stuff to look through! =)
