A Doll’s House

I wasn’t aware that the Doll’s House stage reading counted towards our workshops, but now that I know I really am happy that I attended. The play ran about an hour and five minutes and was very well done. Although there were only five characters and the play had been condensed to its bare bones it was still as powerful as it would have been if it were a full stage production. My two favorite characters had to be the maid and Nora. The maid because she was played by a man and Nora because she herself changed the way she acted around different people in order to not seem inferior. The staged reading was very interesting and the entire theater area is so nice that I will most likely spend much of my time there and maybe see a few more plays from the schools production team.
