Today, November 5th, I went to a reading of the play “A doll house” in the Recital Hall. I have never been to a play at the recital hall so it was a first time expirience for me. The play was about a wife who saves her husbands life and in the process, forges her fathers signature which is a huge crime in the play. Her husband works as the manager of a bank and had just let an employee go for forging a signature so when he finds out his wife did the same thing he was furious. He gets a letter that lets him know he will be okay concerning his wifes crime and suddenly becomes okay with everything. The wife is dissapointed in his actions and claims she is his doll and they never truly loved eachother. The play had much more details that i dont feel like typing but I have to say it was pretty dam good. The story was relavant to our age. The actors read the play from paper and still made it lively and exciting. They did it without costumes or props. It was good acting in its purest form. I will definately go to any plays I find out about from now on… It was relaxing too…..
