K. Johnson- Freshman Open House

This was the first workshop that I attended, and I recieved an invitation from the school to attend. What really caught me was that refreshments were going to be served! As I approched the location, I noticed a HUGE line to get in. After about a half an hour wait, and not being able to recieve papers, a faculty member gave us a quick pep talk on what to expect in college and told us to come in on our free time to recieve our credit for attending the workshop. I learned a few key points such as how to complete a minor and how to register for the next semester.  The first workshop I attended was nice and painless- and I got a cookie for attending too.
