On September 24, 2009, in the main gym, I attended the Club Fair with a few members of our block. It was the first socially invigorating event that I attended in Baruch. It was nice to see so many students brought together to discuss their personal hobbies and interests. I explored clubs such as the Ticker, Asian club, Archery Club, Hip-Hop club and others. I also got some info on the Athletics program and the oppurtunities that are available. After getting some information on the clubs and activities, I was able to see some break dancing and some free style before I headed out. I plan to join clubs the next semester since my first was filled with physical therapy, homework, and sleepless nights. Yet, after the club fair I realized that going to a commuter school isn’t that bad because, even if Baruch lacks a true campus, the students are there to compensate.
