Student Academic Advisement: 9/17/09

On Thursday, September 17, 2009 I attended the Student academic advisement workshop for “Academic Enrichment” from 1:05-2:30.

Thankfully, the workshop wasn’t too lengthy. Students flooded the entrance as if it were Black Friday at Wal-Mart, but at least I was able to squeeze my way through to the front :P. The workshop was pretty informative in the sense that the adviser, Sarah D., was concise in explaining the importance and structure of choosing a major and the requirements. I enjoyed this workshop because she got down to the point and was able to answer all my questions toward my interests in the Zicklin School of Business. Aside from swiping in at the entrance for confirmation, we received a folder provided with all of the paperwork that would facilitate our decision on classes/majors. As a whole, the information and the documents given at the advisement workshop was really helpful. Along with the complimentary lemonade and cookies ! Though.. I don’t think lemonade and cookies are a good mix…
