In case #1, it talks about a student named Ron that was late to his Psychology class and decided not to go at all. Then when he asked for the syllabus from a student he decided not to look at it so he didn’t do the required homework that was due the following class. When he told the teacher that he didn’t have the hw because he wasn’t there he got a zero.
My group and I had discussed and agreed that the student got what he deserved because this is not high school anymore where you are given breaks. If that had happened the real world, he would’ve been fired on the spot so its a life lesson telling you to stop being lazy. Even if he was 30 minutes late he could’ve still attended the class because you are allowed only 2-3 absences until you are dropped from the class and 2 lates equal 1 absence. He is the one that is at fault because he had the choice to do the work but instead lied to the professor by saying he didn’t recieve the syllabus and thus earning himself a grade of zero.
WELCOME TO COLLEGE RON!
