In college, students are very important to manage their time well. Especially, students who are working and studying same time. When they have to do two things same time then organizing the time is very important. In this case it shows how Sophia is not able to manage her time. Also, college is not only managing the time well, also able to communicate with other people and do group work. It is very important to communicate well with people and work out together. This case #2 shows Sophia’s action toward her college life.
Sophia has a group project with other people, but it is too hard for her to meet other members to do their group project. Because, she works 30 hours a week also takes other classes. The group decide to meet in the weekend to do the project. But, Sophia doesn’t answer her phone and e-mail at all. Because, Sophia doesn’t want to waste her weekend. When group ask Sophia to do her own part, she refuses and decide to do her own project. But, professor says “No”. After that Sophia just not show up in presentation and drop the class.
This case shows that Sophia is being irresponsible for her work. Even though she work and study same time, it is her job to manage her time well. Same time it is not only her individual work, it is group work. Because of Sophia, group members are the one who get affective. There are people who can not able to do group work, but it is very important to communicate with people. In group work, students can learn from each other more. This case shows that responsible is very important same time able to mange the time well also able to work with group of people.
Improving on TIME MANAGEMENT and COMMUNICATION is the key here.
