This fair came extremely handy, I benefited alot from it. I took AP courses in High School and also attended two other CUNY’s for psychology, sociology, and business administration; courses that I was convinced had gone to waste. Luckily, with the staff’s help I was able to retrieve all of these credits in a matter of 2 minutes, as oppose to calling those colleges to request my transcript and have it sent to Baruch. As of very recently, Baruch has direct acces to other CUNY’s files, which saved me a lot of work and time. I also had no idea I was required to have an imunization form in my file, so I have to make sure I get that in ASAP. I also learned that Financial Aid for the summer is negotiable depending on my situation, which is good to know incase I consider taking summer courses. Under Financial Aid, we are given a specific amount of money, you can be given extra money to take summer courses, but if you fail the course, the money may no longer be “extra” and can be deducted from your original money.
Over all this was a very helpful workshop.
