Baruch Bearcats Women’s Volleyball

On Monday, October 12th, the Baruch’s Women’s Volleyball Team played at Hunter College at a CUNYAC Multi-match day. The Bearcats played Lehman College beating them 3-0, with a score of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-13. Then the Bearcats played City Tech, beating them in three sets with a score of 25-11, 25-8, and 25-3. The Bearcats currently hold a 16-4 overall record and are currently tied in second place with Hunter College in the CUNYAC standings. The Bearcats hit off the Baruch Invitational Tournament on Friday, October 16th against Marymount College from Virginia. The Bearcats are hoping to sweep the tournament and to continue their current winning streak. They are also preparing for their game against CCNY, which is currently ranked first in the CUNY conference, on Tuesday, October 20th. This year the team consists of six prior players and 6 new players. Despite the team being mostly new, they are doing very well.
