Sotomayor

I know this is a little late but I attened the Sotomayor workshop a few days ago. Although this workshop did not really go into the history of Sotomayor, it explained the importance of her actions and the importance of her role in the supreme court. This group focused on the oppurtunity and equality of many blacks and hispanics. I am glad to hear of the changes that occur over the years starting from the civil rights movement to having a black president. This leaves hope that one day we might just have an Asian president.Besides the fact, Sotomayor spoke out for her community and she made a great example of someone who didn't have much, but worked hard and got to where she wanted to be.

club fair

I went to the club fair and walked around with a couple of friends...I heard about the breakdancing team but could not find them during the club fair. Not much clubs interested me because a lot were business organizations and sorority/fraternity. One that caught my attention was the anime club and I might attened some of those club sessions. And again Baruch is going pretty welll so far, nothing new.
