Managing Relationships in College

I attended this  workshop and honestly, I wouldn’t do it again because it just wasn’t very helpful. I guess it wasn’t very helpful because I don’t think I needed any help with the topic in the first place but aside from that it just seemed kind of dry and there wasn’t anything said that I’m sure everyone in the audience has heard before/knew already. It was mostly the speaker asking questions like “what issues might a couple come across in college?” or “how is your relationship to your parents/friends?” but nothing really about managing those issues. There was an effort to get the many kids in the room to spread out and socialize a bit but it didn’t go farther than shaking someone’s hand and asking for their name. I think a better way to have handled the workshop would have been various smaller sessions where students could ask questions and get answers from other students while being guided by a speaker/mentor/authoritive figure. But yeah, as it was, kind of seemed like a waste of time for me.
