Gallery Tour : Mercedes Matter

On 11/3/09, I attended the gallery tour of Mercedes Matter, an abstract artist. The wait was really long for this workshop, but it was somewhat interesting. It exposed me to the abstract art realm, and Mercedes Matter was a rather interesting artist. She painted with shapes, and tried to draw out tables and fruits, but also did works of art for different seasons and color schemes. Overall, the tour was pretty short, but it was informational and made me aware of artists out there.
