I went to the academic advisement. They were pretty helpful in telling me the classes I need to take for certain majors. But since I don’t know what major I want it wasnt as helpful. But at least I learned which classes I need to take for certain majors. Right now I am just going to focus on finishing up my teir 1 and tier 2 classes. Hopefully by the time I do, I know what major I want. It was a helpful workshop.
I went to Academic Advisement early in the semester too. I got there a little late, but it was still pretty crowded. So crowded that I wanted to leave but my friend encouraged me to stay. When I went in there were people encouraging us to go to the Philadelphia trip. We had to walk further into the office in order to go to the seminar. Even though people were trickling out it was still crowded because the office was small. They were serving refreshments and there were groups of students sitting at tables, being advised about what classes to take in order to be able to apply to their major. It was too crowded for me to be advised in a group, but I was able to get advice from a man that I should take BUS 1000 next semester.
