Global-Community Awareness

About a month or so ago, I helped volunteer for a Bazaar at my local church, which was to help fund for missions in Kenya / Africa. It was such a great time, selling baked goods, sandwiches, and other foods, knowing that every penny goes to a good cause. I learned that in Kenya, there are many children that do not even have shoes, or even shelter, and have to go through every day with dirty water. This experience opened up my eyes, and we should all try to pitch in to help this cause, such as donating for charities or directly helping them out. Many of my friends over the past summer also went to Kenya and did help out directly, and that was a great feeling knowing.
