I attended a workshop called Impressions Managements. It was held by the STARR career development center. It basically taught us about first impressions when it comes to getting jobs and what not. It told us what we should do at interviews and how we should act. First impressions are the most important. I learned a lot from this workshop. It really made me think about how I should act when I go on an interview for a job regardless what the job may be. I also learned that although I can make a great first impression, other things, such as things about me that may be on the internet , can affect my chances of getting a job. You have to be careful with what you post up on the internet because everyone can see it, even people you might not think will ever see it, such as your potential future employer. This workshop was very helpful.
