Creating Your Own Major Workshop

This workshop on October 8th was creating your own major. At first, I did not know what to expect as I was just following my friends into a workshop requirement, but I was shocked at the title of the workshop. How could someone create their own major? Well, this workshop helped me to figure out how to do so, and the exact processes in order to do so, such as getting certain amount of signatures from the deans, etc. or what class requirements you need. I found this very interesting that one could create  their own major, such as the guest speaker, who was majoring in Beauty Marketing (if I recall correctly). She was studying marketing psychology and focussing on the beauty aspect of her field. I found this very helpful and informative.
