Freshman Reception 9/17

Freshman Reception in the Center for Academic Advisement, was the first workshop I went to at the beginning of this school year. It was overcrowded and they didn’t expect most of the freshman class to go to this workshop so they had to relocate most of the students to different classrooms. When the speaker finally arrived she basically told us what the Center for Academic Advisement did for us also where it was located. We learned about how we would double major if we wanted to, what an Academic Worksheet was, and how we would declare our major and/or minor at Baruch. It was a useful workshop that informed me about how to do those in the future.
