In all honesty, I was not at all impressed or even remotely interested with the club fair. Despite Baruch website’s claim that there are over 150 clubs in this school, I don’t seem to recall the availability of that variety. I feel that the choices were not far from the ones that were present on the day of convocation. After the convocation, I went home to search for clubs and societies online and there were a few (despite their brief one sentence club information) that appealed to me. And so, with that enthusiasm in mind, I emailed them. To much of my surprise, the email was immediately bounced back by the postmaster and I was told that their clubs’ inbox were full.
I wonder how many of these 150 clubs still exists today. For instance, Vagina Warriors? Come on, you can’t be serious?! Oh wells, my comments are reserved. But in defense of the club fair, I do recall seeing Taekwondo Club and Colleges Against Cancer Club, which were not present during the day of the convocation. I believe there were many more other clubs that I had failed to acknowledge their virgin appearance. I signed up with the Colleges Against Cancer and they have not email me yet. Wells. Anything for a good cause.
Oh and you know what? I think I want to start my own club. A club that will be interesting and appealing. I wonder who’s with me if I were to put this thought into action. Any takers?
Yea… I figured.
