William and Anita Newman Library

In our last session of freshman seminar, I was very happy to conclude my day taking a tour of the William and Anita Newman Library.  The day after I urgently had to check out a book and that’s when I realized this session worked to my advantage.  I remember Jane giving us a step by step tutorial of how to check out a book and where to return it and I am proud to say i gained a lot of knowledge from this session.  We then found out we can rent rooms to “study” in and I can tell you i will for sure use this once final time comes around.  After comparing this library to my high school library this doesn’t even compare.  The William and Anita Newman Library is full of computers, book, and many other resources to help me get my work done quickly and efficiently.  Overall this tour was a success and i definitely gained a lot of knowledge that i will use for the next few years here at Baruch College.

    Victor!
I am glad you learned something and that you like the library. Its an awesome place and one of my favorite hang-outs of campus. I liked your blog a lot yet I must remind you to pay re-read through your post. You would have noticed little things that can use some correction. Overall, its a rather good post!
