Baruch Library

For me, the first two weeks attending Baruch College has been a great experience, especially visiting The William and Anita Newman Library. Jane Odartey, our student mentor showed us around on the first, second, and sixth floor. She even told us where and how we can take out books on our own, borrow laptops, calculators and textbooks. Baruch’s laptops and calculators are offered to students for either the entire semester or or a few days. Even the textbooks can be borrowed for either a few hours and returned on the same day, or a couple of days later. What I didn’t know about Baruch’s library is that if you want to study with a group of students, you can reserve a private room to do so. I’m glad Baruch offers these facilities to its students because for example not everyone can get access to a computer or a printer from home. I look forward to using and regularly visiting the library in my current and following semesters.

    Manisha,
its really nice that you thought the past two weeks were a great experience! I believe you have the right attitude towards the campus and I really hope that you will find the next four years in a similar light! I am glad that you are also looking forward to use the library!
    Good Post!
