Baruch is an amazing place. These seminars create an opportunity for new students to get to know the campus and how utilize Baruch’s resources. Last Tuesday our peer mentor, Jane Odartey, brought us to the library. It was a great experience to know how to borrow books, use computers and printers and even how to get the textbooks the professors reserve for their classes. I thought it was extremely helpful to know that we would need to activate our ID cards before borrowing any books because I would have never known. The library is one of the most important places for a student and am thankful that I am able to use this place for studies and research. I am extremely grateful that Jane led a tour because it was a wonderful experience to learn how to make use of my resources.
Crystal!
Fantastic post. I realized that you pointed out all the highlights. Looks like you were really paying attention. Also, its really good that you are already referring to the library resources as “my resources” it means that you are are getting along pretty well with the campus. I do hope that you utilize this resources the best you can. keep up with the good posts!
