On Tuesday my class met up for our Freshman Seminar class. Our mentor, Jane Odartey, took us on a tour of the Baruch Library. When I first walked in I was amazed at how large and clean the library was, it was much nicer than any library I’ve seen. Everything was organized, and taken care of. The library was very active, filled with many students either studying or relaxing in between their classes. While showing us around, Jane taught us how to take out books from the library, which one could do by themselves through the use of a machine. She also told us that we could rent laptops and calculators from the library, as well as print anything we need. I am thankful that Jane took us on this tour because I can imagine the amount of time that I will spend in the library throughout the next four years at Baruch.
Max, it was very much an honor to show you around our campus. I happen to Love Baruch and I hope you will too if you don’t already. Soon you will realize how much time Baruch students spend in the library! I am really happy that you learned something.
Awesome post!
