On Thursday the 17th, I, along with some classmates, attended our first workshop to fulfill our freshmen seminar class requirements. Out of the many provided for us, we chose to attend this workshop because we believe nothing will be more important than to get a grasp of the requirements we need to fulfill in order to achieve academic success. Although this workshop is not required for every freshman, many, including us attended, which created a huge crowd by the location of the event. Other than having to wait on the long line, I believe people attended this workshop have not been daunted by any part of this workshop. Cookies and lemonade were served, along with a folder included in which is very useful information regarding required curriculum for different majors, core classes requirements and a lot more. Other than being fully informed by staffs, I also had many of my questions answered which will be very helpful to my future academic career. Overall, this workshop is organized and informative, and I will be looking forward to participate in other workshops in the upcoming weeks.
