This past Thursday afternoon, September 17, as soon as the Freshmen Reception and Ethics workshop concluded, I attended the Study Abroad Fair in the Multi-Purpose Room. This was an amazing event because I got some vital information regarding the school I would like to study at next year. Since my admission to Baruch, I always wanted to study abroad for a semester or two in Israel. Being that I’m Jewish, I feel a distinguished connection with Israel, my country, and studying there would be a once in a lifetime experience. I even spent this past summer in Israel, in the heart of Tel Aviv, where I had the time of my life, and was able to visit the school I was interested in studying at. This school, Tel Aviv University, is located in the middle of Tel Aviv, and is very similar to Baruch being that it is located in an industrial city. Tel Aviv University is ranked as one of the world’s top institutions, and provides an outstanding overseas program. The CUNY representative gave me some basic information about the school, and the requirements for the program. His assistance was very helpful and I am greatful that I attended this fair, because I needed that crucial information. After exiting the event, I felt satisfied with all the useful insights I was given, and I am looking forward to spending the next school year in my country, Israel.
