Club Fair

On Thursday, September 24th, I went to the club fair hosted in the basement from 12:30 – 2:20PM. It was quite an experience to meet new people and learn more about the Baruch culture. It was extremely crowded and filled with people trying to entice newcomers to join their clubs. There were many different clubs ranging from sororities/fraternities to clubs promoting an common interest like handball club to societies that can help people achieve their goals. I am glad that Baruch held a club fair because it gave me an opportunity to enjoy student life and allowed me to realize that college is much more than work 24/7 but also networking. This is an event that all students should attend because it is fun, exciting, and allows a person to break out of their comfort zone to enquire more about other activities in the school.
