Today, October 15th, I attended a workshop located on the 2nd floor of the library from 12:45pm-1:15pm. This workshop may have been short but it was really useful. I learned that the Baruch Library homepage has a database section where Baruch students can research anything they want just by typing in the topic. The database can give you sites or links or even cite your topic just buy a click of a button. The more specific you type your topic on the browser, the more specific links you obtain. Knowing that I still have 4 years at Baruch and Baruch provides us with a database that is so powerful, I can now work on my paper and projects with no hesitation. I recommend this workshop to all my fellow Baruch freshmen because knowing about Baruch’s database can be really helpful in the long run.
