Avon Breast Cancer Walk

On October 12 2009, at 9:30 am, there was a breast cancer walk at Bryant park. Although it was very early on a sunday I didn’t feel tired because it was for a great cost . Since we were the cheering station most of us wore pink, we also saw another cheering team there. The other cheering station were very enthusiastic which inspire us to be excited as well. The Avon breast cancer walk can raise awareness for breast cancer, so it was a very  meaningful event. I haven’t gone to many events like this but in the future I hope to go to more events that raise awareness on certain diseases. This breast cancer walk made me realize how a walk can help a cause. I learn that walks to raise awareness is a great and fun activity and I hope to go to more events like this.
