The Avon Breast Cancer Walk at Bryant Park was a fun event. My classmates and I supported the walkers by cheering them on and uplifting their morale as they passed by. This event gave me the opportunity to partake in a meaningful event. Breast cancer is a growing concern as more and more women are diagnosed with it. By contributing to the walk with my enthusiasm, I believe that I have made a step towards change and progress. This event also gave me the opportunity to get to know my classmates better. I conversed with my classmates about whether they like the event, their favorite TV shows, and the types of music they listen to. This event was definitely a learning experience for me. While cheering on the walkers, I was pleased to see so many people engaging in a good cause. I also felt a sense of satisfaction for participating in the event because I was contributing time and effort to a cause. It didn’t matter that my contribution was small, but the fact that I was participating is reason enough to show my concern for a good cause.
