Breast Cancer Walk

On October 10th I attended the Breast Cancer Walk in Manhattan. I called Jane that day to see where we were meeting; however, when I arrived there, no one was there except for me. I must have arrived as soon as the group left unfortunately. This walk was very important to me because my Mom had Breast Cancer and succeeded when I was in the sixth grade. Even though I was not with the group, I still participated in the walk and it was very rewarding and my parents were proud of me for doing that. It was also great to see how many people attended the walk, hundreds of people. When I was finished walking, I took the MTA Bus transportation back uptown in Manhattan, where I live, and I have to share what I found on the Bus! I found a ten dollar bill on the seat which made my day even more exciting! I will now try to attend every breast walk in Manhattan. It is also great to see all the food products such as Special K Cereal which says on the front of the box that a portion of the sales will go to breast cancer research and I bought two boxes with that ten dollar bill. When I found that ten dollar bill, I knew that it would be a great idea to use it to help the fight against breast cancer.
