SACC – How to Pass Mathematics

On October 15, 2009 I attended a mathematics workshop hoping to find key facts in passing my current math class. However, I was disappointed in how the workshop presented itself. The host used a book and read straight from the book and just stated obvious tips that many study workshops propose. I was hoping for actual experience from the host or actual math topics and how to solve them. There was no one in the workshop I knew and the workshop seemed slow. The host was not really enthusiastic about the topic. I did take all the knowledge from the workshop with me, but it would have been better if it gave mathematical examples of common mistakes or actual college experience from the hosts.  The workshop was short and there were complications in the beginning but the workshop did accomplish what it was supposed to do, teach us how to pass mathematics. The tips were really intended for overall, studying in general. There were some good mathematical hints but too few for a workshop focused on math.
