Despite a huge crowd of freshman gathered all in one room, and the fact that each counselor had limited time to help each student, the freshman reception gave me plenty of information i needed on classes and the college life. They gave me a lot of advice on scheduling and managing my time sufficiently to get good results in all my classes. Although I only spent a short amount of time, probably 3-4 minutes with a counselor, I felt even more comfortable afterward around Baruch knowing more about what I needed to do to become a more successful student. The refreshments weren’t half bad either. Regardless of the short amount of time I spent there, my questions seemed to have been answered. The results of coming out of that room just made waiting in that line for about 30 minutes a whole lot more worth it.
