The Breast Cancer Walk was an event to raise awareness and a step forward to finding a cure for breast cancer. This event was held in Bryant Park and from my experience, it was a very enjoyable event. I’ve done the Breast Cancer Walk for the last two years in Prospect Park down in Brooklyn, New York and I had a lot of fun doing them. It is a nice way to spend a Sunday morning relaxing with friends, getting caught up with them and also getting a little bit of exercise in the process. Oh, and of course we are all doing this for a much bigger, more universal reason which is to try and end or possibly limit the tragic effects of Breast Cancer. It was a cold, brisk and windy morning but that did not prevent anyone from participating. A 3 mile walk may sound like a lot but considering what we were doing it for, it simply a minuscule number because we walk so much more the good of the health of our fellow human beings across the world. I sure had fun and I definitely will participate next year.
