Job Fair Prep

On November 19, I attended a workshop called Job Fair Prep. The annual job fair at Baruch was going to occur the following day, so this was the purpose for holding a job fair prep. There were a variety of Baruch students ranging from freshman to sophomores. This workshop was very helpful in a few ways. First, I would like to say the speaker did a pretty good job. He kept the audience fairly interested and presented the material very well. I thought the information presented was very helpful. Although I am only a freshman at the moment, I believe it was good to be presented with information about how to present yourself, how to start up conversation with company representatives at the job fair, and how to create healthy relationships with these people for future connections. This workshop was very helpful to me and I felt that as a business student, every student at Baruch should be presented with this type of material.
