Last Thursday I went to the freshman reception to end my day off to see new people. To my surprise there was a big crowd waiting in line to go there too. The people were extremely nice and friendly. It was great to know that there were people there to help and guide us to making our career at Baruch a success. I am glad they handed out those folders that contained such vital information about graduation requirements and the grade point averages. Besides receiving information on tier requirements, I found it very helpful to give us a list of advisors that can assist us on our inquiries and how to contact them. Overall, the reception was a great way to meet new people and to my satisfaction, the workshop answered all my questions and even provided tasty refreshments.
