On Sunday October 11th, we went out and cheered on the people participating in the Avon Breast Cancer walk. Although it was a rather cold morning the experience was very rewarding because we went out and supported a worthy cause by cheering on the participators and we were able to get to know each other a little better since we spend nearly three hours together. I was particularly excited to go out there and cheer on the walkers because my mom had done a similar walk only a month earlier and she shared with me how much she enjoyed the experience and that she planned to continue doing things like this because they are rewarding experiences. Of the workshops that I have attended so far this is by far my favorite because it is the only one that the class spent together, at the other two I visited, the Club Fair and Freshman Reception, were more solitary based where you just walked around by yourself and found things to do.
